Don’t you just love networking with people who use business buzzwords and jargon?
Where do all these words comes from and why do some people feel they need to use them to create an impact on their usually, not so captivated audience?
At the beginning of the year, The Telegraph created a list of business buzzwords which were likely to be used prolifically throughout business communities around the world – luckily for me I haven’t heard too many of them, but perhaps that’s telling in itself and I’m not mixing with the right people or perhaps I am!
The world of Marketing itself uses a myriad of buzzwords and jargon but when using them, do we really believe our clients understand what we are trying to say and could this be having an adverse effect on our prospective and ongoing relationships with them?
The Plain English Campaign would have a field day trying to interpret some agencies business pitch proposals to new prospects. That’s why Echo Engage take time to sit with clients to find out exactly what their business is all about and produce proposals which clients can fully understand without having to use the internet to look up certain terminology.
So if you’re looking for an agency that you can understand, go to their website to see just how many buzzwords they use and make a judgement on whether you speak the same language!
In the meantime, our clients will witness us drinking the Kool-Aid and we’ll leverage some value add synergistic services by laddering up and amplifying the onboarding experience in order that their road map is scalable. This could be a Game Changer!
